Mount's Bay 10K Parking Update

Hi Guys and Gals.  It's Craig from Hayle.

Could you please pass on the following to your runners before Sunday's race?

Due to  the expected bad weather on Sunday we will not be able to use one of the farmer's fields for parking and we have lost one of the farmer's yards this year.  Because of this, parking at the start will be very limited.  There will however be plenty of parking at the Folly Fields, which are the large car parks looking directly at St Michael's Mount by the beach. They will be free to all runners for the day and we will be running a mini bus to the start, if you do not fancy the walk.

Can you ask your members, where possible, to car share and to arrive early in order to have plenty of time for the 10 minute walk up to check in?

Time keepers, helpers etc. will have reserved parking at the Community Hall.

All of your runners should have received their confirmation by now telling them their race numbers.  As you know the race has been full since 3rd January and there will be no entries on the day.

If you are not sure of your number, you can check it on the Cornwall Road Running website  www.cornwallroadrunning.co.uk   If you are not on the list then I'm afraid we have not had an entry from you and we will not be able create a place.  Please do not turn up on the off chance.

Finally we hope you all have a great day and that the weather men are wrong !!

Craig
