Welcome to the 36th Duchy Marathon in the year that the UK hosts the Olympics!
Sponsored by H2O on the Go! and The Penventon Park Hotel, The 'Duchy' is Britain's second longest established marathon, first run in 1977 and is itself steeped in history. You can find out more about the race history here.

Once again it will incorporate the Duchy 20, which is ideal preparation for those training for a Spring marathon. This 20 mile route provides an opportunity to enjoy your long Sunday run in the company of many like minded runners and all finishers receive their Duchy 20 medal and of course a Cornish pasty.
The race date is Sunday 4 March 2012, starting at 10.30am. The start and finish are at the Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth, which provides a top class venue and if you are travelling from outside the county, why not consider one of the Spring Marathon breaks offered by the hotel.
Good luck with your training and hope to see you at the Duchy Marathon and Duchy 20 in March...
