The Track and Field section of Cornwall Athletic Club has over a number of years been able to boast a number of athletes who have gained honours at International, National and Regional level. (For Hall of Fame click here) This is a tribute to the network of experienced coaches the club have built up over the years.

The club currently competes in the South West League Division 1 - winning the League in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2010 and 2011, while finishing as runners up in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008. Cornwall Athletic Club has also won the South West League Cup in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The club's senior athletes will have the chance to compete in the newly formed Southern League for the first time in 2012.
As well as competing in these leagues, the club also hosts successful "Open" meetings, including the Duchy Open, which began over 30 years ago. Also, in 2011, Cornwall AC launched its Secondary Schools Athletics League, giving local pupils the opportunity to compete in a wide variety of track and field events at the Carn Brea athletics track. This league proved to be very popular and is continuing in 2012, with even more schools taking part.
The club organises trips for the younger members to attend various meetings held in the South West and the youngsters invariably come home with many cups and medals, as well as gaining valuable experience of competing against other athletes from around the region.
New members are always most welcome and they are assured a warm welcome and top quality coaching.
