INSTRUCTIONS TO SCHOOLS
Athlete numbers.
You will need to print these off onto A5 sized cards and bring an adequate supply of safety pins to attach them.
Please allocate your school code AND numbers to each Athlete in your team as follows:-
Each school will be allocated 100 numbers, split as follows:-
Junior Girls 001 - 025
Junior Boys 026 - 050
Inter Girls 051 - 075
Inter Boys 076 -100
The numbers must be proceeded with your school code so that it is easy to identify where athletes are from eg if Camborne School (CAM) have a team of seven Junior Girls for Match 1 they give these athletes numbers CAM001 to CAM007 and the athletes keep these numbers for the whole League series.
If in Match 2, Camborne have 8 Junior Girls, the eighth athlete is given CAM008 (the next available spare number in that category) and so on through the matches.
At Match 1, hand in a declaration sheet showing all your athletes' names and the numbers you have given them.
At Match 2, if you only use the same athletes, you do not have to do another declaration sheet, just tell us at the Portacabin your athletes are as Match 1. (If you have any new athletes that have not competed in a previous match, then we would need these names/numbers as they are added).
Once this is set up, it really speeds up the results and, all being well, they will be available before you leave. Results will, however, be on this website the day after each match for all to see.
PAYMENT
Thanks to the schools who have already sent cheques [Receipts will be provided at Match 2] and League entry sheets- which give info such as mobile numbers etc, should the club need to contact you urgently. For any schools who have not already sent cheques, please can they be available at Match 1, if not before.
OFFICIATING DUTIES
We ask, if possible, for schools to provide two people to help with Officiating duties; these do not have to be PE members of staff, although often it helps of course, but could be other members of staff, 6th formers, Sports Leaders, or even a keen parent. (For any of your students doing CSLA or Duke of Edinbugh Award and using the League as part of their volunteering, Pete is more than happy to deal with their log books if you wish).
For each Official provided, we give 10 League points to that school to a maximum of 20 points.
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OUR PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS AND THEIR ATHLETES IN 2013!
