The Duchy Marathon is a two lap race, starting and finishing at the Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth. 

The map shows the mile markers and the position of the water stations.  There are also sponge stations at the 5/17 mile point and at the 11/23 mile point.

Runners in the Duchy 20 start with the Marathon runners and have a separate finish alongside the Marathon finish

From the start to a point between 13 and 14 miles, the Duchy 20 follows the same route as the Marathon  The Duchy 20 then has two changes

1  A half mile up and back detour along a road on the left known as Balkan Way (flat)

and

2 A left turn just past 16 miles, rejoining the Marathon route just before the 17 mile marker

The route then follows the Marathon course back to the Penventon Park Hotel
