Fourteen CAC raceaholics in search of a fix headed of to the scenic Trelissick 10K.
Our favourite Lieutenant Commander, Tony Dunn, likes to win his local races and did so comfortably here by 45 seconds, showing that he’s rapidly getting back to form after a period of extreme laziness!
James Waldie had a great run finishing 3rd, just three seconds behind runner up Rob Burnham (Newquay Road Runners). Nathan Jolly appeared out of nowhere, as usual, to take 4th and young Tom Rawet ran very well to place 9th in his first Senior race.
John Waldie is losing ground on James again, after getting close to his son in a couple of races, coming 16th. Suzy Bosustow was not far behind and finished 3rd lady, just beating in Bethany Alston, who was 4th, by eight seconds. Another youngster going way over-distance was Harry Allen, who cruised around in 24th and it was good to see Barry Frost’s recovered from his back injury, finishing 43rd.
Juliet Knowles kept hubby Mike company to place 114th, with Jill Curtis next in for CAC in 148th, showing her recent good form is continuing. Johnny Alston went well for 157th position and Nikki Coleman and Samantha Alexander, our hedgehogs, bravely crossed several roads on the way to 182nd and 183rd places out of the good field of 220 runners.
