Second places for Matt and Donna at Trelissick
Nathan Gosling finishes 5th in the World Duathlon Championships

This new addition to the local race scene was blessed, incredibly, with a beautiful sunny evening, showing the estate off to the full.

Matt Cleave went well on the scenic but tough and mainly off-road course, finishing in 2nd position behind  Daniel Stevens.   Steve Wherry had a good run in 6th, winning the Vet 40 section in 40.21 and Dave Angilley had his usual solid race, finishing 10th overall and 3rd Vet 40, clocking 41.21.

Not too far behind, wife Jayne was winning the female race for Hayle, with Donna Jenkin, on the comeback trail, coming 2nd for CAC in 49.18.   Jenny Evans was 3rd lady in 49.34, also placing 44th overall and Graham Storer beat his missus again on his route back to full fitness, finishing 48th , out of the field of 140, in 50.14.

Competing in the 25-29 age group at the World Duathlon Championships, in Geel, Belgium, last Sunday Nathan finished fifth in 3 hours 52 minutes.  Well done my boy, from all at CAC.
