One of the club's top cross country youngsters, Annabel Gummow, produced her best result so far this winter, finishing second in the Under 13 event at the penultimate UK Cross Challenge fixture, held over a very muddy coursr in Blackweir Park, Cardiff.  The Penair schoolgirl was always in contention at the head of the field, losing out in a very close finish to Emma Gilmore (Portsmouth) by just two seconds.

There were also solid runs from Chris Dobson and James Waldie.  Chris finished 21st in the Under 17 race, just twelve behind his in form close Cornish rival, Matt Cleave and James was 24th in the Under 15 event.
