Adrian Ball took possibly his best victory to date by winning the Redruth 10K on Sunday, with Juliet Knowles triumphing in the Ladies’ race and both CAC teams emerging victorious.

Adrian ran within a minute of his time on the flatter Newquay 10K, to comfortably beat Shaun Milford for the first time.  Justin Thomas warmed up for his appearance in the New York Marathon on Sunday finishing 3rd, beating a returning Jason Pascoe into 4th, with Phil Bolt in 16th completing  the ‘A’ team.  Martin Wills was just behind Phil, in 17th and the happy couple, Graham and Viv, were back together again, finishing in 42nd and 44th respectively after running together, blissfully, most of the way!

Juliet took her first win for a while, in 19th position overall, by nearly two minutes and was ably backed up by a strong Ladies’s team.  Jenny Almey was 3rd, only just missing out on 2nd, with Olivia Ballard in a useful 8th place and Jill Curtis ensuring team victory in 16th and 68th overall out of the 108 finishers in this popular local race.
