Buzza's Bits - Whitemoor 10K – Sunday 27th April
First three positions for CAC Ladies

A small group of our road runners were looking for a race between  Grand Prix events and headed up to clay country for a run out over an undulating (organiser’s description!) course.

Ken Walker of Newquay RR took his first ever race victory (congrats, Ken) after following our young James Waldie for a fast first mile.  James suffered a bit after that but hung on well to finish 3rd in 38 minutes 12 seconds.  Next in, having a great race and also, I think, winning for the first time, was Emma Stallard with 6th place overall and victory in the Ladies race, clocking 40.15 – well done Emma!

John Waldie was a great 8th in 40.51, with Dave Pell showing good form again in 11th overall (41.24).
Sarah Jarvis got the better of Kathryn Burgess for 2nd lady in a fine 17th overall, with Kathryn finishing 3rd lady and 20th overall in 43.14, 36 seconds behind Sarah.
