"I will be running my first London Marathon on April 13th 2008 (I must be mad!) and I will be running in my Dad's memory who passed away at age 58 due to lung cancer.
 
I am running to raise money for Macmillan Nurses who were a great source of help and support during my Dad's illness and also for Cancer Research UK, as my way of trying to help others be more fortunate in the battle against cancer.
