Donna Hillman showed that her preparations for the London Marathon are well on track when she finished third in last weekend's Bideford Half Marathon.  Donna was involved in a close tussle for third place, beating another Cornish runner, Stephanie Martin (Newquay Road Runners) by just two seconds and finishing 41st overall.  Donna won the Veterans 35-39 category.

Another London competitor, Adrian Mutsaers, was delighted to improve his Half Marathon personal best by over two minutes, clocking 1 hour 29 minutes and 7 seconds and finishing 89th out of the 831 who completed the course. 

The Club's third runner at Bideford, Peter Torr, also warming up for the London race next month, was 202nd in a time of 1 hour 36 minutes 37 seconds, which gave him 14th position in the Veteran's 50-54 age group.
