| Bizza's Bits Good Luck to CAC Runners in the Cornish Marathon |

| Good luck to the CAC runners (and everybody else!) in the Cornish Marathon this Sunday. New recruit Lisa Wotton runs, as do Graham Storer, Adrian Ball and Dave Southby. |
Viv Bray is thinking about it as a training run as that would make a strong team! Any other willing "suicide runners"? (run and the other teams will be blown off the road? Is that in bad taste? Yes it is, but it's one of my funnier lines). I can promise them automatic entry to CAC heaven, though due to broadcasting restrictions I'm not able to detail these!
If you fancy a good family day out, take them up to Bodmin Moor to cheer on the racers - it's beautiful on a good day. The race climbs up from the start (10.30) at Pensilva (near The Minions standing stones) to reach Bolventor (Jamaica Inn) at 15 miles, then heads back down the River Fowey Valley for 4.5 miles before a few ups and downs back to Pensilva.
Give everyone a bit of support and visit Golitha Falls, The Minions and some scenic tors while up there. And yes, I've done it the last two years!! |
