Cornwall AC is delighted to be hosting a special coaching session on Saturday 12th September from 10.00am to 3.00pm, with help from some visiting experts.
 
Sonya Ellis of England Athletics is a Level 4 combined event coach with a focus on sprints, hurdles and jumps and has been a coach education tutor in the past.  She coaches in Exeter and has also been heavily involved in managing teams at county and regional level for a number of years.  Sonya will be coaching sprints, hurdles and jumps at this session.

Also, Ken Holmes, who is the GB Teams' throws coach, UKA Level 4 throws coach and a Scottish International for Javelin for the 6th Commonwealth Games, will be coaching all the throws.
 
Everyone is welcome, especially coaches wishing to pick up possible new ideas.  Don't miss this opportunity!

For information- please note, the old style Levels 1 and 2 coaching awards will continue until August 2010, except for the Running Leadership courses which have already been notified to you.  We will keep you updated of changes to coaching qualifications as we hear.
