What a return Conor Robinson made to competition after a minor injury, regaining top spot in the UK Under 15 3000 metres rankings, by winning the Under 17 race in 8 minutes 58.2.  This performance gave Conor his first county record, beating the twenty year old time set by another English Schools Junior Boys Cross Country Champion, Jon Richards, by one second.

Team Managers Karen Mulroy and Bob Ingle were understatandably delighted with the result saying, “The key to our success today was filling ninety eight of the one hundred and four events.  Everyone responded magnificently and the team fully deserved their victory.”
